'If he was not hurt, Yuvraj broke all records, I will not
forgive Chappell'
Yograj said that 40 years ago I was removed from the Indian
team and since then it was my pain in my heart. I was living with the same
pain.
If Yuvraj Singh was not hurt when playing Kho-Kho, he would
break all the records, it is to say that his father Yograj Singh's India's
World Cup hero Yuvraj retired from international cricket on Monday.
His father told the English newspaper Indian Express,
"When the Grape Chappell was the coach of the team, if Yuvraj did not hurt
his knee while playing Kho-Kho, then he would break all records of ODIs and
T20s. I will never forgive Chappell for this. '
Yograj said, "40 years ago I was removed from the
Indian team and since then it was my pain in my heart. I was living with the
same pain. '
Yuvraj's father said, "Yuvraj's story begins from there
when he was a year old and I brought him the first bat and my mother, Gurnam
Kaur, gave him the first ball. I still have that photo. '
Yograj said, 'When he grew up he started skating and playing
tennis. I used to break her skate and tennis racket. He used to call our
Sector-11 house a prison and I have a Dragon lion, but as a father I have the
right to say to my son that he should give me my lost honor and once again give
me a chance to be proud . '
He said, "Yuvraj was then six years old when I took him
to the Sector-6 stadium, where I used to practice. There used to be Paes
Academy and I used to tell Yuvraj to bat without helmets.
Yuvraj's father said, 'He used to run for half an hour every
day in the stadium. I remember that when my mother was struggling with her
life, she told me that I was wasting the life of Yuvraj from such a tough
training, then for the first time in life I regretted behaving like this with
my son. . '
