The counting of the Lok Sabha elections in 2019 has started
from 8 am. Rajasthan has a total of 25 Lok Sabha seats. In the initial trends,
BJP is going ahead quite well. Modi seems to be affected by the wave. According
to the counting till nine o'clock in the morning, the BJP has made an edge over
nearly 19 Lok Sabha seats in the state. The Congress has been performing poorly
in the half-hour counting so far.
In the assembly elections held in Rajasthan last year, BJP's
Vasundhara government had to face defeat at the hands of the Congress. Which is
why this time the Congress is going to perform well in the Lok Sabha elections.
However, according to Exit Poll, BJP can win a total of 23 to 25 seats here.
Thus, the BJP is in a position to clean sweep here. The biggest question is
whether Modi remains in power in the Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan or else
the Congress can perform well under the leadership of Ashok Gehlot.
In the exit polls of Aaj Tak-Axis My India, after the
election, once again the magic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be seen
in Rajasthan and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot may have to face defeat. According
to exit polls, BJP has got between 23 and 25 seats in the total of 25 seats in
Rajasthan and the Congress is getting between 0 to 3 seats.
Earlier in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had clean sweep
in many states including Rajasthan. If the results come as a survey, then Chief
Minister Gehlot will be a big setback.
