Redmi Go is launching in India today at 11.30 hrs. It is the company's first smartphone which runs on Google's Android Go platform. It will be an entry-level smartphone and it will be from JioPhone 2.

Chinese smartphone maker Shawmi is launching its entry level smartphone RedmiGo in India today. The event will be organized in Delhi and it starts from 11.30 hrs. The company will be on the official channel of its live streaming company.

Redmi Go can prove to be an important factor for the Indian market, especially for the first time smartphone users. Redmi Go can compete with JioPhone 2 in India. This phone is available in the Philippines. Before launch, Flipkart has prepared a dedicated page for it, that is, it will be purchased only from the e-commerce website.

It is worth mentioning that Redmi Go is the first smartphone of Shawom, which will run on the Android Go platform.
