Xiaomi launches the cheapest smartphone Redmi Go, today
Redmi Go is launching in India today at 11.30 hrs. It is the
company's first smartphone which runs on Google's Android Go platform. It will
be an entry-level smartphone and it will be from JioPhone 2.
Chinese smartphone maker Shawmi is launching its entry level
smartphone RedmiGo in India today. The event will be organized in Delhi and it
starts from 11.30 hrs. The company will be on the official channel of its live
streaming company.
Redmi Go can prove to be an important factor for the Indian
market, especially for the first time smartphone users. Redmi Go can compete
with JioPhone 2 in India. This phone is available in the Philippines. Before
launch, Flipkart has prepared a dedicated page for it, that is, it will be
purchased only from the e-commerce website.
It is worth mentioning that Redmi Go is the first smartphone
of Shawom, which will run on the Android Go platform. The Google Apps for this
Smartphone Go series will be included, which includes apps like Google Go,
Assist Go, Maps Go. These phones will be available in many color variants -
Red, Blue, Black.
Speaking of specifications, it is expected that the Indian
variants of Redmi Go will also be given specifications with global variants.
That means it will be given a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with a 5-inch HD
display. Redmi Go expects 8GB internal memory with 1GB of RAM. It will be
extended through micro SD card.
RedmiGo has an 8-megapixel rear camera for basic photographer
and also has LED light. For Selfie, it has a 4 megapixel front camera. The
Redmi Go global variant has a battery of 3,000 mAh.
It is easy to estimate its price in India. In India, its
price can be kept from Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000.
