Rahul Gandhi promises special state status to people of
Andhra Pradesh
While addressing the rally in Tirupati, Congress President
Rahul Gandhi targeted the Modi government and promised to give Special State
status to Andhra Pradesh.
While addressing the rally in Tirupati, Congress President
Rahul Gandhi promised to give special status to Andhra Pradesh. He said,
"I want to say to every person of Andhra Pradesh and the country that as
soon as the Congress Party Government comes in Delhi, any force in the world
will not be able to stop the Congress party from giving special status to
Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister is not an ordinary person Prime Minister is the
voice of millions of people. The promise of giving 'special status' to Andhra
Pradesh was done by the Indian Prime Minister, not every single Indian.'
Rahul said that five years ago Prime Minister Modi had come
here and said in the speech that Andhra Pradesh will be given special status
for ten years. In the same speech, he also told about 15 lakhs in every
person's account, giving 2 crore jobs every year and giving the right price to
the farmers. Each of his statements was a lie.
While targeting the Modi government, Rahul said that when
Pulwama was attacked, then PM Modi was shooting. He was shooting for three
hours after the attack. The most important thing in politics and leadership is
that of a person's words, if it does not have weight, then it does not make any
sense.
Rahul said that on one side there are broken promises and on
the other side there is a party which fulfills the promises. We gave MNREGA. We
said that we will return your land and we brought the Land Acquisition Act. The
farmer can not take his land without asking him. 4 times the compensation will
be given to the farmer for the land. We forgive the debt of farmers 70 thousand
crore rupees.
He said that Modi ji forgave the debt of three and a half
lakhs of the country's largest industrialists, but did not forgive the farmers'
debt. The whole nation knows 'the watchman is a thief'
Prior to this, Rahul Gandhi reached Tirupati Balaji Temple
and offered prayers there, He climbed 3500 steps after setting the distance of
about 9 km before reaching Balaji temple on top of the Tirumala hills.
