Patna Sahib is one of the 543 seats in the country and 40

Shatrughan Sinha won the Patna Sahib seat for the 2014
election. He defeated Congress candidate Kunal Singh. Sinha got 485,905 votes
while Kunal Singh got 220,100 votes. Sinha got 55.04 percent votes and Kunal
Singh was 24.93 percent. Though BJP's Shatrughan Sinha dropped to 2.26 percent
in 2014 compared to the previous election, the Congress vote share increased by
13.83 percent. Here, the third place was JDU's Dr. Gopal Prasad Sinha who got
91,024 votes. In the fourth place, Aam Aadmi Party's Parveen Amanullah stood
and fifth position of Umesh Kumar of SP. 7,727 votes were registered under this
notation in this election. This year BJP retained its seat.
Shatrughan Sinha won the 2009 election too. He defeated
RJD's Vijay Kumar Sinha got 316,549 votes (57.30 percent) this year while Vijay
Kumar got 149,779 votes (27.11 percent). In the third place, the Shekhar of
Congress won 61,308 (11.10) votes. Ram Narayan Rai of CPIML at the fourth
position. Fifth and sixth place were Independent candidates.
Shatrughan Sinha's performance in Parliament
Patna Sahib MP Shatrughan Sinha has an average attendance of
68 percent in the Parliament, while the national figure is 80 percent. Sinha
did not participate in any debate of Parliament. So they did not ask a single

session of 2018, he has 63 percent attendance in the parliament and 76 percent
