A day after the air strikes in Balakot on Wednesday, an encounter between the security forces and the militants in Kashmir's Shopian continues, and the security forces have so far killed two militants of Jaish-e-Mohammed. It is believed that 2-3 terrorists are hidden in the residential house there. On getting information about terrorists being hidden in the area, the Army's 23rd Paramilitary Force, CRPF and SOG launched a joint operation.

CRPF, Army and State Police started the encounter at 4.20 am this morning with terrorists in Jamindar, Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Given the increasing tension on the border, all the schools in the area of ​​5 kilometers from Line of Control (LOC) in Poonch and Rajouri have been closed. Fearing border crossings in these areas is happening.

Firing and mortars were left from across the border in Manjkot Poonch, Naushera Rajouri, Akhnoor and Sialkot Sectors.
