Hariyali teej's fast story
The fast story of Hariyali Teej is as follows: Shivaji says,
'O Parvati! Long time ago you used to do heavy penance on the Himalayas to get
me as Var. During this time, you had spent the day chipping away the food and
chewing dry leaves. Regardless of the weather, you do constant tenacity. Your
father was very sad and angry after seeing this situation. In such a situation,
Narada goes to your house.
When your father asked him for the reason of arrival, Narada
said, 'O Giriraj! I have come here on the sending of Lord Vishnu. Pleased with
the terrible penance of your daughter, she wants to marry him. I want to know
your opinion about this. ' Hearing Naradji, Mountraj spoke with great joy - O
Narada! If Lord Vishnu himself wishes to marry my daughter, then there is no
bigger talk than this. I am ready for this marriage. '
Shivaji says to Parvati ji, 'After accepting your father's
approval, Naradji went to Vishnuji and told this good news. But when you came
to know about this marriage, you are very sad. You had thought of me as my
husband, Kailashapati Shiva.
You talked to your friend about your troubled mind. Your
friend suggested that she will take you in a bustling forest and hide it and
staying there will teach you to acquire Shiva. After this, your father was very
worried and unhappy after not seeing you in the house. He started thinking that
if Vishnu came with the procession and you did not get it at home then what
would happen? They gave you earth in your quest, but you did not get it.
You were absorbed in my worship within a cave in the forest.
Shravan III Shukla, you have created a Shivaling from the sand and worshiped me
that I have fulfilled your wish by being pleased. After this you said to your
father, 'Father! I have spent the long life of my life in the penance of Lord
Shiva and Lord Shiva has accepted me as pleased by my penance. Now I will walk
with you on one condition that you will marry my Lord Shiva. ' Mount Raj
accepted your wish and took you back home. After some time, he married us with
the entire legislation. '
Lord Shiva then said, 'O Parvati! As a result of Shravan
Shukla Tritiya, you worshiped me by worshiping me, it was possible that
marriage of both of us could have been possible. The significance of this fast
is that I give the desired effect to every woman doing this vow with full
devotion. '
Lord Shiva told Parvati ji that any woman who performs this
fast with complete devotion will receive an unmatched suhag like you.
