Petrol prices remained steady on Thursday while diesel price

After three consecutive days of constant stay, diesel prices
were cut once again on Thursday. Oil companies have cut diesel prices by up to
6 paise in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.
Following the new reduction, diesel prices in Delhi,
Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have declined to Rs 63.78, Rs 65.70, Rs 66.87 and
Rs 67.46 per liter, respectively. If you talk about gasoline, then the price
remains constant for the fourth day. In the four metros, petrol prices remained
unchanged at Rs 69.93, Rs 72.19, Rs 75.63 and Rs 72.64 per liter respectively.
Due to the softening of the crude oil prices in the
international market, Indian oil companies have not increased the price of
petrol and diesel this month. In the last 20 to 25 days, in the last 25 days on
diesel, relief has been given to 2.91 rupees per liter, while petrol has been
cheaper to 1.93 rupees.
Break can take on the brakes
Meanwhile, crude oil prices in the international market have
remained bullish. Crude oil prices rose more than 1 percent on Thursday.
Indeed, the crude oil reserves in the US have given prices support. Apart from
this, signs of finding a solution to trade tension between the United States
and China has fueled the price of oil. Global trade demand for crude oil is
expected to increase in the event of a trade tension.
On the other hand, due to the geopolitical pressures in the
Gulf region, prices are also getting support from the impact of the supply of
oil. According to the experts, if crude oil prices were rising, then petrol and
diesel would become expensive in the coming days.
