22 year old Shridharanya Suresh, who lives in Wayanad district of Kerala in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, has made history. She is the first tribal woman in Kerala to pass the Civil Services Examination.

The Union Public Service Commission has released the results of the Civil Services Examination. There have been many such faces in the examination, who have achieved great success in education. One of them is the 22 year old Shridharanya Suresh, who is from the Wayanad district of Kerala. She is the first tribal woman in Kerala to pass the Civil Services Examination. Many legends including Congress President Rahul Gandhi have congratulated him.


Shridhanya Suresh has achieved 410th rank in the Civil Services Examination 2018. Other candidates in Kerala who got top rank in the exam include R. Srilakshmi (Rank 29), Ranjana Mary Varghese (Rank 49) and Arjun Mohan (Rank 66). On the success of Shridhanya Suresh, Rahul Gandhi tweeted that Wayanad's Shridharanya Suresh is the first tribal woman in Kerala to pass the Civil Services Examination. At the same time, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarai Vijayan also congratulated Shridharanya Suresh. Vijayan said in the Facebook post, "Shridhaniya fought social backwardness and passed the Civil Services Examination with full zeal. Their achievement will inspire other students in the future. ' In addition, the Chief Minister also congratulated other candidates of the state who passed the examination.

Let the total 29 students of Kerala pass this year's Civil Services Examination. This time, 759 candidates in the final result managed to pass the examination. These include 361 of General category, 209 of OBC, 128 of SC and 61 of ST candidates. This time the top 25 includes 15 male candidates and 10 female candidates.

Shridanya said, "I am from the backward district of the state. There are no tribal IAS officers here, whereas there is a large tribal population here. I hope this will work as an inspiration to overcome all obstacles for future generations. "
