Three
bridges accident in one and a half years: Is Mumbai's life so cheap?
Footover
bridge near Mumbai's CST railway station has fallen. Six people were killed in
the accident while 36 people were injured.
A big
accident has happened in Mumbai due to falling footwork at Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj Terminus (CST) railway station. Six people were killed in the accident
while 36 people were injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
Let me tell you that this is not the first case of fallover bridge in Mumbai.
Earlier in the year 2018 and 2017 similar incidents have happened. Raises a question
from these accidents that three bridge accidents in one and a half years, is
the cheapest of the lives of Mumbaiites?
A
footover bridge fell out of CST at around 7:30 p.m. on the evening of March 14.
The incident took place in the evening when people were heading home from their
office. This bridge was about 30 feet above the road, part of which came to the
ground. After this accident, the BMAC and the railway started pulling the
bridge over and over again.
This
happened because of the fallover bridge falling in Andheri, Mumbai on July 3,
2018. Six people were injured in this accident. Then it was a mistake that no
one was killed in the accident. BMC and Railways had charged each other for the
accident.

At the
same time, on September 29, 2017, an accident occurred in Elphinstone railway
station in Mumbai. 23 people were killed and more than 23 people were injured
in the tragedy. It was at 10:30 in the morning, the rain was also high on that
day, due to the situation like the slippery on the bridge.
