Junk food intake has become more dangerous than ever before: Study

In the past 30 years, the quality of junk food being served in the restaurant has declined. Because of this, today's generation is suffering from obesity at an early age.

In today's time, junk food has become an important part of people's diet. But the junk food being served in the restaurant in the last three decades has seen a huge drop in quality. These restorates started adding sprouts and salads to their menu, but increased the amount of sodium in their junk food. This led to an increase in obesity problems among people.

According to a new study published in the Academy of Nutrition and Diet Journal, the quality of junk food has declined in the last 30 years and it has been affecting people's health more than ever before. According to the study conducted by Boston University, the quantity of sodium and calories in junk food has increased, along with the quantity of other things has also been increased.

Megan Macroeure, principal researcher of the study, says, "Junk food has always been popular among people, but in the last 30 years it has been seen that due to this many people are being hit by obesity and other problems. Nowadays, the main cause of death is also junk food. '

Please tell, this study has been done in a very broad form. While studying, between 1986 and 2016, 10 restaurants' junk food was studied and tried to understand that with changing times, what changes have they made in their food.

The results of this study are not very encouraging. According to the study, in all these restaurants there is a huge increase of 226% in starter, dessert and other dishes. Researchers think that there is a deep relationship between junk food and obesity. According to him, the increasing trend towards people's junk food is negatively affecting their health.

It has been emphasized in the study that now all restaurants serve more junk food to the customer, due to which sodium is increasing in our body and the amount of calories in our body has increased. In the study, it has been said that the quantity of iron and calcium has also increased in the deserts, which is good for our bones and protects us from diseases such as anemia.

Macroeconomics says that now restaurants will have to change their way of working. In the early stages, if they tell people only what is the calories in what matter, then this would be a positive step.
