JioPhone Reliance Jio has announced partnership with G5 for its GeoPhone users. Under this Geophon users will get access to G5 content.

The popular video-on-demand platform ZEE5 has partnered with Reliance Jio. Under this partnership Zee5's content will be available on Geo Kaios Enabled JioPhone. Since this partnership, content of ZEE5, which was available only for Android or iOS till now, will benefit the feature phone users. The point of note is that there are a lot of geophones in rural areas, which get access to 4G data. In such a situation, ZEE5 has the full potential of getting more views.

According to the report of TelecomTalk, providing content on Kaios-based platform will give ZEE5 access to more than 40 million users, which are looking for more options for entertainment with Geophone offers. ZEE5 India CEO Tarun Kaital said about this new partnership, "We have to bridge the gap of digital entertainment between metros, semi-urban and rural markets through ZEE5 and we believe Jio is our perfect partner."

Geofon users will get access to VOD content in bulk by the partnership of these two companies. In addition to the original ZEE5 series, there will also be access to many TV channels, music, TV shows and news content. Geophone users will get the benefit of watching movies with Hindi, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
